Proper Preparation Comes First
1. Inspect the Paint
We review your vehicle’s condition, existing protection, visible defects, and desired finish. Photos help us begin the conversation; an inspection determines the preparation needed.
2. Wash and Decontaminate
For ceramic installations, we clean the exterior and address contamination before applying protection. Clay treatment follows the package scope and your paint’s needs.
3. Refine the Finish Where Needed
The 3-year package includes a one-step polish. For the 1-year package, polishing is a separately quoted recommendation when needed. More extensive correction is discussed before work begins.
Ceramic coatings do not remove scratches. Any improvement to scratches or swirl marks comes from paint correction before the coating is applied.
4. Prepare and Apply
We prepare the painted surfaces and apply the selected coating according to its requirements.
5. Review Aftercare
We explain the initial curing precautions and washing guidance for your coating. Appointment timing and any restrictions on water exposure or washing are confirmed for the product used.
What Ceramic Protection Can—and Cannot—Do
Ceramic protection can enhance gloss, encourage water beading, and make routine cleaning easier. It adds a protective surface layer that helps reduce how readily everyday grime adheres to the finish.
Your vehicle still needs regular care:
-
Coatings do not remove existing scratches, swirl marks, or oxidation.
-
They do not make paint scratch-proof or prevent rock chips.
-
Water spots can still form when mineral-rich water dries on the surface.
-
Bird droppings, bug residue, and other contamination should be removed promptly.
-
Washing and appropriate aftercare remain necessary.
For daily driving around Pflugerville, the goal is a finish that is easier to care for—not a maintenance-free vehicle.

Ceramic Coating FAQs
Which ceramic coating package should I choose?
Choose the 1-year option if your paint is already in good condition and you want a lower starting price. Choose the 3-year option if you want longer-duration protection with an included one-step polish. We can recommend a package after inspecting your paint.
Is Wet-Coat the same as a 1-year or 3-year ceramic coating?
No. Wet-Coat is short-term protection applied after every maintenance wash to refresh gloss and water beading. The 1-year and 3-year options are separate coating installations with dedicated paint preparation.
Will ceramic coating remove scratches?
No. Coating protects the prepared surface; it does not correct scratches. Polishing may improve certain defects before application. We’ll explain what can reasonably be improved after inspection.
Is paint correction included?
The 1-year package does not include machine polishing. The 3-year package includes one-step machine polishing. Additional correction may be recommended and quoted after inspection; complete defect removal is not promised.
Why are the prices listed as “starting at”?
Vehicle size, paint condition, and preparation needs affect the final price. You’ll receive a personalized quote before scheduling the work.
Still Not Sure Which Coating Fits?
Not every vehicle needs the same level of protection. If your paint is already clean and well-kept, the 1-year ceramic protection may be the right fit. If you want longer protection and a cleaner finish before coating, the 3-year ceramic coating is usually the better choice because it includes a one-step polish. If you are just trying to keep a maintained vehicle glossy between visits, Wet-Coat Protection with your maintenance wash may be enough. Send a few photos, tell me how the vehicle is used, and I will help you choose the option that makes sense before you book.
